JUNIOR PROGRAMS 2024
In order to participate in the Dentonia Park Tennis Club Junior Program (Afterschool lessons,
Saturday lessons and/or Competitive Team), the player must become a JUNIOR MEMBER
(under 18 years of age).
New Junior member registration is performed through the booking system, found at
https://www4.tennisclubsoft.com/dentonia. Signup begins in March.
The cost of a Junior membership is $90 (including HST). This includes FREE Saturday Junior
Lessons.
JUNIOR LESSONS (SATURDAY).
Signup for SATURDAY JUNIOR LESSONS is done through the booking system link above after
the member is registered. Click on the Junior Programs heading. Saturday Junior lessons are
complimentary with a Junior membership.
Saturday Junior Lessons (8 Weeks)
12 - 1pm – Beginner/Low Intermediate Player Ages 6 – 10
1 - 2pm - Intermediate/Advanced Player – Ages 11 and up
Note that times are tentative depending upon the number of participants.

lesson on May 18 th due to the Victoria Day long weekend.

additional fee of $70.00 per session.
(e.g. $70.00 Tuesday 4-5 pm or 2 sessions Tuesday & Thursday 4-5pm $70.00 x 2 =$140.00)

SUMMER TENNIS CAMPS (2024)
A summer co-ed tennis camp for ages 7-17 years, runs daily from 9.00AM to 3:00PM at Dentonia Park Tennis Club (See session dates below). The program includes beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. It focuses on improvement of basic skills and strategy. The camp will be directed and organized by Kent Yee, a certified tennis instructor.
Weeklong summer camps are available to both members and non-members under the age of
18.

Dentonia Park Tennis Camp Dates for 2024
Session 1: July 8 - July 12
Session 2: July 15 - July 19
Session 3: July 22 - July 26
Session 4: July 29 – August 2
Session 5: August 12 - August 16
Session 6: August 19 – August 23
Camp starts at 9 am and finishes 3 pm. Campers enter the courts at 10 am.
DENTONIA PARK JUNIOR TEAMS
Tryouts are required to play for the DENTONIA PARK JUNIOR TENNIS TEAM. This year we are
going to have a full team consisting of:

Under18 Team: 6 players (U18)

Under14 team: 6 players (U14)

Under10 team: 4 players (U10)
Tryouts for all teams occurs- Saturday April 13 th , 2024 from 12 - 2 pm
DENTONIA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024
information will be posted in July/August.
The Junior DPTC Junior Championship Tournaments are held annually in September. Details are posted here and in the clubhouse.
