  • You must be a full member (not an off-peak member) of the club to play in the club tournaments

  • The fee to enter is $10 per tournament per player

  • Signup deadline: Sunday, August 3, 2025

  • Tournament draws published: Tuesday, August 5, 2025

  • Finals and Social Event: Sunday, September 28, 2025. Championship finals will be played right after the club social and barbecue

  • The matches will be played from August 6 to September 28

  • Match Format

    • ​All matches (except finals) are played as pro-sets:

      • First to 8 games, no ad scoring

      • At 40-40, the receiver chooses the service side. The next point decides the game

      • If the score reaches 7–7, the next game wins the match.

    • Finals are played as best 2 out of 3 sets:

      • Standard scoring with a tiebreak at 6–6

  • Categories are Ladies’ Singles, Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Over-50 Singles, Over-50 Doubles

  • Tournament finals can be played before or after September 28, 2025, but must be completed before the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in October. If a tournament is not completed before the AGM, it will be recorded as ‘Not completed’

  • If you are playing in a doubles tournament, don’t sign up before you have your doubles partner lined up. Each player signs up for themselves, not for their doubles partner. Indicate your doubles partner in the comments

  • The over-50 doubles can be men, women or mixed

  • Men or women can play in the over-50 singles

  • Tournament rules can be accessed on the club website and will be posted in the clubhouse

  • Players are guaranteed a minimum of two matches in a tournament. There will be a consolation tournament for players/doubles pairs who lose in the first round of the main draw

  • Prizes will be awarded to the following winners

    • Main Draw Champions: $100

    • Runners-Up: $50

    • Consolation Draw Winners: $25

  • Prize winner awards will be made at the AGM in October

  • A tournament will be round-robin format if fewer than 8 players/doubles pairs have entered

  • If a tournament is a round-robin format, the player/doubles pair with the most matches won will be the winners of the tournament. If there’s a tie based on matches won, the most games won will be used to break the tie

  • Junior tournaments will be organized and announced separately

  • Juniors may participate in the adult tournaments with approval from the club pro
